Good morning! :O)

It is another wonderfully wet day in the Willamette Valley! Overcast skies, raindrops dotting everything in sight, offering reflections of time passing by.

I am about to put on my Ketchikan sneakers and head outside into natures beautiful light box and see what I can find.

For those of you who do not know what Ketchikan Sneakers are, here you go :O) I took these photo's of my reflection in the door of my car one afternoon while at my local park.  You see, Ketchikan averages 15-18 feet of rain a year. Yes you read that right! feet! so, extra tuff boots are commonly known in Ketchikan as sneakers :O)

Reflections
Now, you may hear it rains quite a bit here in Oregon and in the Willamette Valley, but.... it averages about a third of the rainfall as my home town!

Ketchikan Sneakers
I still find my boots to come in handy once in awhile. We had some pretty serious flooding not too long ago, I am pretty sure we even made the news.... I don't have t.v. so don't quote me on that one ;O)

Sexy, aren't they! :O)

Hope you enjoy my photos, I will check back later with my finds!

Thanks for stopping by.

Brand New....

Well,

Here goes.  Thought I would try my hand at this! When I don't know something, I simply roll up my sleeves and jump in! After a good cup of coffee first of course.... so, with that being said, here I am! :O)

I love photography. I can't get enough of it :O)

When I have my camera in my hand and my lens is pointed at someone or something, I get this feeling that is very hard to explain.  For me, nothing else exists but that particular "thing" and me, and I just now came to that realization!

Everything is quiet.....

The beautiful thing about photography is you can not help but be aware. Simply put. You notice things that other people wouldn't take a second look at. You hear a chirping in a tree in a park, and you get this urge to find it because you know.... there is something in that tree, posing for you, and if you can find it, and if you can get the right angle then you get your prize!

When I download my photos after a shoot, it's like Christmas for me every time! or as Forest Gump would say, "It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get".

Thanks for stoping by! I'm going to go try to figure out how to post photo's on here now!

Hugs,
